About
Artist Summary
I have been involved in the art of photography since the early 1970s. My passion for the medium began in my early teens, learning darkroom techniques. This was the beginning of what would become a lifelong journey in photography. I attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, majoring in commercial photography. After Art Center, I traveled through the South Pacific and Central America, documenting my experiences before moving to New York City in 1979. That move to the East Coast was made by bicycle—from San Diego to Vancouver, across Canada to Niagara Falls, and finally to New York City.
While working in commercial photography, I always continued producing collections of non-commercial work. Some of those collections are presented together here for the first time. With the convergence of new technologies, I am now able to use a fulfillment platform linked to a printer in Germany who ships directly to customers. The prints are produced on various papers selected by me.
I currently live with my wife in Short Hills, New Jersey, and we have two adult children.

Commercial Photography
I’ve worked as a commercial photographer for over four decades, specializing in still life for the retail, cosmetic, and fragrance industries.
From 1979 to 1994, I worked as a manager and staff photographer at two commercial photography studios in New York City, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of products and production styles.
From 1994 to 2023, I owned and operated G2 Productions, Inc., producing high-end imagery for e-commerce, catalogs, direct mail, and in-store advertising. During this time, I also helped establish five commercial photography studios in New York City, from concept to completion.
My client list includes Coach, Christian Dior, David Webb, Clarins USA, Kate Spade, Puig, Sandbox Studios, and more. I’ve collaborated with producers, stylists, and post-production teams to deliver polished, brand-aligned imagery.
Since 2006, I’ve freelanced for studios including Sandbox Studio NYC, Saks Fifth Avenue Studio, Tommy Hilfiger Studio, and Lord & Taylor Studio, contributing to campaigns for brands like Stuart Weitzman, Ralph Lauren, Chico’s, White House Black Market, and Calvin Klein.
In 2023, I joined Accenture Song as a Photography Senior Analyst, where I currently lead photographer for one of the studio’s contract clients.
